Les Paul and Mary Ford perform "I Really Don't Want To Know", the novelty number "No Place Like Home" with their trick guitar effects and close with "Tiger Rag". The Galactic Bureau of Investigation sends an agent to the dark planet Carron, a planet ruled by the sinister Akim the Terrible, where evil is embraced and good (such as helping the weak, old and sick) is frowned upon and punished. He returns with his mind mechanically altered to suit Akim's way of thinking. Flash Gordon and Dale Arden are sent to put a stop to Akim and his evil ways. They arrive outfitted with special Cylinite bands to protect their brains from any mechanical, electronic interference... but will these devices work? No one knows for certain!
