who is following the orders of a corrupt Indian Agent, Jim Lackey (Harry Harvey),
attacks supply trains which are bringing necessary supplies to the Indians on the
Washita Reservation. Tonto and the Lone Ranger aid Chief Swift Eagle (Ralph Moody)
as Lackey attempts to get Swift Eagle and his braves arrested and endure a forced
move to the Florida Everglades by making them appear to be the ones attacking
the Army supply trains. Kenneth MacDonald appears as Inspector Williams, Michael
Ross appears as Lt. Murray, Wheaton Chambers appears as Father Baptista and
Lane Chandler makes an appearance as Flynn.

Produced at the same time as the more well-know Twilight Zone, this series fed the nation's growing interest in paranormal suspense in a different way. Rather than creating fictional stories with supernatural twists and turns, this program sought out 'real' stories of the supernatural, including ghosts, disappearances, monsters, etc., re-creating them for each episode. No solutions to these mysteries were ever found, and viewers could only scratch their heads and wonder, "what if it's real?" In this episode, a married businessman is having a secret affair, and one night while he's driving home drunk from a rendezvous with his mistress, he runs over and kills a young boy. No one saw him -- he believes he got away with it, but soon he is astonished to hear what he believes to be his victim's voice on his dictaphone.

David Opatoshu gives an excellent, compelling, mutli-layered performance as Gerald Perkins, a man determined to try and help save lives even at the risk of ridicule and the dredging up of his own past. A chilling and weird tale from the classic TV show.
